2022 Agro Expo December Newsletter

2022 Agro Expo December Newsletter

‍A Message From Our Staff

As we reach the middle of December, the holidays approach hopefully bringing joy, family, and togetherness. It is a time to reflect on our experiences throughout the year, celebrate with our family members, and hopefully have some sweet treats.

The AgroExpo team is currently doing the same as we prepare for another year of the FFA Crop Management Challenge. The 2022 FFA CMC concluded at the beginning of December with the top 3 in each crop contest being recognized. All of the teams put in lots of hours and effort to ensure that their crops were profitable and high yielding. Our highest yield received in the corn contest was Ionia FFA Chapter with 218 bushels per acre and the top yielding soybean team was Mason FFA, with 58 bushels per acre. Congratulations to our winning teams, please see below for the winning team announcement!

The registration for the 2023 FFA Crop Management Contest closes Tuesday, December 20th, so if you know a local FFA Chapter that may be interested, please reach out to Jessie Nash at jessica.nash@agroliquid.com. We are currently developing our orientation for the new competing contestants with plans to share management practices, hybrid selection criteria, social media training, and many other topics to help students prepare for a successful contest. Watch our social media over January to see photos and updates from this orientation event.

On behalf of the AgroExpo staff, we wish you all a wonderful holiday season and we hope that this coming year brings happiness and health. Don't forget to join us for the 2023 AgroExpo, August 15th & 16th.
