‍Live From the AgroExpo

A‍s Winter approaches and the days get shorter and colder, the AgroExpo staff have been working diligently to plan for 2022.  As we wrap up harvest and put the farm to bed, planning for the AgroExpo layout is taking shape.  Demonstrations, speakers, and map creation is the focal point as well as the FFA Crop Management Challenge.

 

Some new additions have been made to the AgroExpo grounds over the last couple months.  A new grain holding facility has been constructed and plans to incorporate that system into the AgroExpo going forward. The FFA Crop Management Challenge plots have been relocated to the Southeast section of AgroExpo to increase exposure.  More plots and exhibitor booths have been added for 2022 and with that comes more opportunity to get involved. 

 

Exhibitor packets have been mailed out and should be on your desk before Thanksgiving.   We are planning a full show again for 2022.  If you would like more information and you haven't received your packet, feel free to reach out to us at info@agroexpo.com.

‍Meet Our Staff

‍Meet Jessica Nash!

 

Jessica Nash is from Elsie, MI, where she grew up on her family's dairy farm. Jessica is an Operational Assistant with the North Central Research Station, where she collaborates with other staff to help plan events for the AgroExpo. One of her favorite events to plan for is the FFA Crop Management Challenge, where FFA chapters from all over the state create a crop management plan over a harvest period and truly put their knowledge to the test. Jessica is looking forward to meeting everyone at the 2022 AgroExpo!

This season, Agroliquid's North Central Research Station was able to donate over 19,000 lbs of potatoes to the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
